Kampung Sumber Alam

Sumber Alam is designed as some kind of an artificial village. We had the junior suites, airy large bamboo houses on stilts above the water. With the suite comes also an open air hot water tub that is filled with the thermal water tapped in this area. The rooms are well maintained, clean and comes with a nice veranda above the artificial lake. Kids loved it as they could fish from the veranda - even catched (and released) some fish. They also have some attractions such as a flying fox, etc. On weekdays the place is almost empty and on Saturday very crowded with local families. The staff is great, helpful, food is good as well, could be a very nice place. The downside is that it is pretty difficult to book (internet doesnt work, you have to call and English is not their strong side - luckily my colleagues in Singapore speak Bahasa. A real problem is that some mosques nearby seems to run a competition who's having the earliest and loudest praying call. And there are quite some mosques nearby. I always thought that prayer call would be at dawn (and dusk) but in this place they start at 3am and continue for an hour.
So I can only recommend to people that are clearly deaf or sleep during the day...
